I took this photo of my actress friend Lauren Smith a bit more than a year ago in Melbourne, Australia. She had asked me to take photos of the dress rehearsal of a play she was both acting in and producing.
At the same time, I was also doing a short course in portrait photography at RMIT in Melbourne and had to produce shots for my assignments. I was wandering around before the rehearsal and as my friend was getting ready, I found this great opportunity of a photo.

I used a Canon SLR 40D.
