Now that Autumn is here, I like to remind myself of what a beautiful Irish Summer we had.
It was a busy Summer too and it is only now that I finally manage to go through the many photos I took in July and August.
Early July, I spent a weekend away in County Carlow. It is a part of Ireland I really love. There are so many beautiful landscapes and so many bright colours everywhere. It's a great area to spend some time, be it Summer or Winter and in between. There is always something to do and most of the time it involves lovely walks along a river or a forest and sometimes helping with milking cows whenever we visit E.'s uncles at the family farm (I am the one watching them milking the cows, maybe one day I will be brave enough to help with this part).
With the colder season approaching fast enough, I am looking forward to spending time there, sitting with a book by the fire while listening to the river flowing outside.
